Glenn Niemeyer was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Grand Valley State University for most of his career. As a Consultant-Evaluator for The Higher Learning Commission, he participated in many accreditation visits, frequently serving as chair of the evaluation team. He was elected chair of The Higher Learning Commission and, subsequently was appointed Vice President and then President of the North Central Association.
Glenn Stevens was Executive Director of the Presidents Council, State Universities of Michigan for 20 years. In this capacity, he was the primary liaison between Michigan's fifteen universities and state government dealing with academic, fiscal, legislative, legal, and public relations concerns. As a result of significant state-level and campus experience, he has a deep understanding of the skills needed for success in leadership positions.
Frank Marczak retired as the President of Muskegon Community College after a long and distinguished career in community college administration. He served as the President of MCC since 1995 and prior to that served in numerous instructional and administrative positions in Flint and Muskegon, Michigan. He also served as a Consultant-Evaluator for The Higher Learning Commission and chaired numerous teams evaluating colleges in the region served by the North Central Association.
Mike Woods served as Dean of Multicultural Affairs, Director of Affirmative Action and Assistant Director for Admissions during his 17 years at Grand Valley State University. He held the position of Director of Emergency Services for Kent County, Michigan. He was a consultant to The Conference of Minority Public Administrators for Strategic Planning. Mike retired after 20 years of distinguished military service in the US Marine Corps.
John Tomey was Executive Vice President of Schoolcraft College. For 36 years he held administrative positions in higher education with the last 31 years in the community college sector. He has extensive experience in all facets of Student Services with particular emphasis on enrollment management, retention, and student judicial affairs. During his tenure at Schoolcraft College he authored the Student Code of Conduct which has served as a model for other colleges and universities across the country.
